A production board from Excel on your shop floor
OEE, output, downtime and quality figures per shift, readable from a distance for the whole line. The numbers already live in Excel. We put them on the TV above the line every 15 minutes. When the internet drops, the last value stays on screen.
Updated
Six production-board patterns · Templates that work for Belgian manufacturing and the DACH Mittelstand.
OEE board per line
OEE score (one big number in the middle), with availability, performance and quality as sub-figures below. Target bar for the shift. Conditional color: red below 70%, orange 70-85%, green above 85%.
Output vs target
Production output this shift (left), target this shift (right), the percentage gap (below). Visible before every shift change: did we hit what we set out to do?
Downtime tracker
Total downtime this shift, top-3 stoppage categories, average MTTR. For maintenance teams who want to know where to start tomorrow.
Quality dashboard
First-pass yield, scrap percentage, complaint count, quality target. For lines where every percentage point of scrap is a direct cost.
Shift leaderboard
Top-3 shifts this month by OEE score, with the figure and a trend. Healthy rivalry between shifts, without emailing an Excel file around.
Safety + housekeeping
Days without an incident, 5S score from the last audit, EHS focus points. To put on the wall what too often only gets discussed in meeting rooms.

Production Excel into gibeon.io
Your production workbook already lives on SharePoint or OneDrive (shift rota, OEE tracker, downtime log). Sign in with your 365 account and grant read access. No separate data export, no second source.
What goes above the line?
OEE score, output this shift, target this shift, downtime, top-3 stoppages, quality percentage. Mark the cells, drop them on a wall template. Conditional colors: green above 85% OEE, red below.
Auto-refresh every quarter hour
An industrial-grade TV or a sturdy signage monitor above the line. Enter the activation code. Fresh numbers every 15 minutes. If the internet drops, the last figures stay on screen for 24 to 72 hours from cache.
What a shop-floor production board fixes
Your shift lead fills in an Excel tracker for every stoppage. Output counts come from the PLC, the OEE calculation runs overnight. The daily figures are ready, but nobody sees them until the morning meeting.
With a production board on the shop floor, every operator on the shift becomes a co-owner of the number. Output sits above the line, the target sits next to it, everyone sees the gap. Make the gap visible and the deviation drops, not through surveillance but through focus.
Manufacturing-focused US players (Valotalive, Rise Vision) offer this in English. For Belgian Dutch or DACH German there is no mature alternative. We are here, with an NL/FR/DE flow including a help center.
Frequently asked questions
Does this work with my Excel on SharePoint or OneDrive?
Yes. You sign in with your Microsoft 365 account and grant gibeon.io read access to the workbooks you select. OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online both work.
How does gibeon.io calculate OEE?
gibeon.io calculates nothing itself. We show the values you already have in Excel. If your OEE formula sits in cell D7, we put cell D7 on screen, large.
How often does the production board refresh?
Every 15 minutes. For shift figures updated at 06:00, 14:00 and 22:00, that is more than enough.
What if the internet drops on the shop floor?
The screen keeps showing the last values until the connection is back. Cached data stays available for 24 to 72 hours. No blank screens during a network outage.
How much does it cost?
Free up to 3 screens. Starter €39/month for up to 5 screens without a watermark. Pro €99/month for 10 screens.
