Sign in with your K Series account
In the gibeon.io CMS you click "Add integration" → Lightspeed → sign in with your K Series or Restaurant credentials. gibeon.io gets read-only API access to your menu, prices and allergens. No till data, no customer data.
Door, counter or terrace board
Door board (large menu, 6 categories visible), counter board (dishes + happy hour), terrace board (drink prices + promo). Templates are adjustable: colours, logo, a photo per dish.
Activation code, done
An Android TV stick (~€40), a Smart TV with Chrome, a tablet: whatever fits your entrance. You get a 4-digit activation code, type it in on the screen, done. No extra cabling.
Use cases we run today
Brasserie with a changing daily menu: the owner updates the specials in Lightspeed K Series every morning. The door screen and the counter screen pick them up within fifteen minutes. No more rewriting the chalkboard.
Restaurant chain with per-location prices: one menu template, prices per location from each venue's own Lightspeed feed. The Brussels venue can show happy-hour prices, the Antwerp one not.
Take-away spot with a lunch + dinner switch: a time-based rule flips automatically between the lunch menu (11:30-14:30) and the dinner menu (17:30-22:00). Lightspeed is the source for both.
What gibeon.io does NOT do
- No till functionality. gibeon.io does not replace Lightspeed: you keep checking out through Lightspeed POS. We only show the menu + prices on a passive screen.
- No stock management. Run out of a dish? Mark it as "sold out" in Lightspeed. gibeon.io hides it automatically, but the logic stays in Lightspeed.
- No ordering flow. For self-order kiosks you're better off with Lightspeed's own Order Anywhere or a separate tool. We do passive signage, not an interactive flow.

Does gibeon.io work with Lightspeed K Series?
Yes. Lightspeed K Series (the hospitality POS, formerly iKentoo) exports menu, prices and allergens over REST + webhooks. gibeon.io reads that feed read-only and puts everything on your screen. Change a price in Lightspeed and the screen follows within fifteen minutes.
What about older Lightspeed Restaurant or Lightspeed Retail?
Lightspeed Restaurant works, as long as you set up at least a daily cloud sync. Lightspeed Retail is for shops and maps to our retail landing page.
What if I don't use Lightspeed but Untill, CCV or Pos4?
Untill, CCV and Pos4 are not connected out of the box. Mail [email protected] with your POS and use case and we'll look at what's possible.
Which screen hardware works?
A Smart TV with Chrome or an Android TV stick (€40-80). No separate player hardware needed. For multi-location restaurant chains we can supply gibeon.io player boxes with central management.
Does this work without a cloud subscription at Lightspeed?
Lightspeed K Series has been cloud-only since 2024. For Lightspeed Restaurant the POS needs to sync at least once a day. Cloud hiccup? The screen shows the last known menu, never a blank screen.
What does it cost?
Free up to 3 screens + 1 Lightspeed connection. Pro €99/mo covers 10 screens + audit log + multi-location. Business €198/mo for restaurant chains with 10+ venues.
