What is Instagram?
Instagram is Meta's visual social platform. You publish photos, reels and stories and your followers see them in their feed. What Instagram does not offer is a browsable feed widget you can drop on a wall TV. For that you grab a third-party widget or a signage connector.
How gibeon.io connects
Gibeon pulls your feed via the Instagram Basic Display API or a feed widget in the background. You connect your Instagram account once (OAuth via Meta Business Suite), pick whether you want the latest 10 or 20 posts on rotation, and the screen runs through them. Personal and business accounts both work.
Showing an Insta feed on a screen can go via several routes:
Open instagram.com on a mini PC with the tab full-screen. Works, until Insta logs you out, until Chrome crashes, until a network blip leaves the screen white.

Can I show my Instagram feed on a screen?
Yes. Gibeon connects to Instagram via the Basic Display API and puts your latest posts on rotation on your screen. No browser tab needs to stay open.
Does it work for a business account?
Yes. Personal and business accounts both work. For business accounts you can show extra metadata (engagement counts, caption truncation, etc.) via the Graph API connection.
Are Reels and Stories included?
Posts (photos and carousels) are included by default. Reels show as a video thumbnail or short clip depending on your setting. Stories are off by default given their 24-hour nature; you can enable them per connection.
How often does it refresh?
Every 15 minutes Gibeon pulls new posts. A new photo on Insta appears on your screen within the quarter-hour. Force a manual sync from the CMS Sync now button at any time.
What does it cost?
Free for 3 screens + 1 connection, no credit card required. Above that the Starter plan starts at €39/month for 5 screens.
Is this allowed under Meta's terms?
Yes, as long as you display your own account's content (photos you posted). For user-generated content (others tagging you) you need permission from the original poster. Gibeon does not handle that consent flow, that's on you.
