Signagelive plays at the enterprise end. If you run a Network of hundreds of Players across UK, EU and APAC, their Content Manager gives you audit trails, role-based governance and proper multi-region rollouts. The Player Edition and Network Edition split lets you scale on Brightsign, LG webOS, Samsung Tizen or ChromeOS without locking yourself in. Channels and Playlists are clean to manage at volume. For banks, transport hubs and hospitals, that combination is hard to beat. It's a platform built for compliance teams, not for the person at the front desk of a real estate office in Antwerp.
Take a Brugge office with 80 panden in portefeuille and 3 etalageschermen. Every pandfiche carries the vraagprijs, EPC-label, kadastraal inkomen, photoset and status (te koop, te huur, verkocht onder voorbehoud). When a new mandaat is signed or a price drops after an openhuisdag, the window display has to reflect that the same day, not the next time someone exports a CSV. Without a native Whise link, the agent ends up rebuilding slides by hand. That is the workflow Signagelive was never designed for.
Gibeon talks to Whise directly through the Whise Marketplace and public API, where we are listed as a Whise-partner. Every 15 minutes we pull the fields that matter for an etalage screen: address, price, bedrooms, surface, EPC-label, status and the first 5 photos from each dossier. Edit a pandfiche on Friday evening, the screen reflects it well before Monday morning. If the internet drops in the office, the last cached snapshot keeps playing, so the window never goes black. No CSV exports, no manual slide builds, no separate Content Manager for property data.
Yes. Plenty of agencies do exactly that. Signagelive handles corporate screens and meeting rooms, Gibeon handles the property windows. You don't have to rip anything out, the two run side by side on different displays.
Brightsign and Tizen are supported, same with webOS and ChromeOS. If you've already invested in SoC hardware, point it at Gibeon and you're set. For smaller offices we also ship a basic Android player that costs less than most Player Edition licenses.
The last cached snapshot keeps playing. Visitors walking past the window see the same listings they saw an hour ago. Once Whise responds again, the next 15-minute cycle pulls fresh data and the screen catches up on its own.
